TOP JEM TERRORIST DEPORTED FROM UAE

ANM News Desk: A top Jaish-e-Mohammad terrorist and one of the key Pulwama attack conspirators has been deported from the United Arab Emirates.

Nisar Ahmed Tantray was accused of the Pulwama Lethpora CRPF camp attack and had fled to the UAE in 2017. 5 CRPF personnel had been martyred in the attack.

This is a major diplomatic win for India where countries all over the world had taken a collective initiative to counter terrorism.

PAKISTAN DRONES CONTINUE TO VIOLATE AIRSPACE

ANM News Desk: The Indian AirForce on Monday deployed two Sukhoi-30 MKI jets after a Pakistan drone was spotted along the Indo-Pak border in the Khemkaran sector in Punjab.

Two Pakistani F-16 fighter aircrafts were also seen near the border after the incident.

The drone soon retreated to the Pakistani side after the jets were scrambled.

Similar incidents have taken place following the Balakot airtstrike as tensions between the two countries continue to escalate.

Last month, a UAV which intruded into Rajasthan’s Ganganagar was shot down by the Army. A Sukhoi-30 fighter jet had also shot down a Pakistani military drone in Bikaner sector of the Indo-Pak border using an air-to-air missile.

PAKISTAN ASSURED ACTION AGAINST TERRORISM BUT FAILED: PM MODI

ANM News Desk: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday addressed in an interview that India’s fight was against terrorism and not the people of Pakistan. He stated that Pakistan had assured actions against terrorists but failed to do so.

PM Modi took a dig at Congress stating that their defence deals were similar to ‘ATMs’ but under his government, the deals were done at the level of government-to-government pacts to ensure transparency.

When ANM News contacted tour and travel operators, one among them said that National Media should not give negative touch to Kashmir as according to him most of the news channel are on the same track.

INDIA DEMANDS HANDING OVER DAWOOD, SAYEED SALAHUDDIN

ANM News Desk: Indian officials stated that if Pakistan was interested in countering terrorism, they should hand over Dawood Ibrahim, Sayeed Salahuddin and other terrorists who are Indian citizens.

They stated that Pakistan had failed to take noticeable actions against JeM following the dastardly Pulwama attack.

India along with nations all over the world are pressing Pakistan to take action against terrorists harbouring there.

U.S. ASKS PAKISTAN FOR STERN ACTIONS AGAINST TERRORISM

ANM News Desk: The Trump administration stated that they were asserting pressure on Pakistan to ensure ‘irreversible’ actions against terrorists residing in Pakistan.

Following the Pulwama terror attack, India launched a diplomatic war against Pakistan.

The U.S. has publicly supported India’s right to self-defence and has gradually built pressure over Pakistan.

INDIA NOT TO NEGOTIATE WITH CHINA ON AZHAR’S BAN

ANM News Desk: Indian Government stated that it would not go for any negotiation or make deal with the Chinese Government to gain its support on imposing UN’s sanctions on JeM’s Chief Masood Azhar.

India stated that it will continue to be patient but not rest till the sanction is finalized.

China had again blocked the move to blacklist Azhar but India is determined to achieve the feat  which will result in Masood Azhar facing asset freeze, travel ban and arms embargo.

FRANCE FREEZES AZHAR’S ASSETS

ANM News Desk: External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj held telephonic conversations with French Foreign Minister Le Drian on Friday. Mr. Drian informed her about France imposing sanctions on JeM chief Masood Azhar by freezing his assets.

MEA spokesperson Raveesh Kumar stated that the action on the part of France was an expression of partnership with India and fight against terror.

CHINA PREVENTS AZHAR’S BLACKLISTING

ANM News Desk: China has yet again blocked the UNSC committee from  blacklisting Masood Azhar as a global terrorist by putting a ‘technical hold’ on the proposal.

The technical hold is valid for up to six months and it can be again extended by up to three months.

China argued that the Pulwama terror attack had taken place in the Pakistan-occupied-Kashmir.

China, a permanent member of UNSC had previously prevented the sanctions committee from banning Azhar in 2016 and 2017.

US WANTS AZHAR TO BE DECLARED GLOBAL TERRORIST

ANM News Desk: Prior to the crucial UNSC meet on Jaish-e-Mohammed chief, US stated that Masood Azhar met all the categories to be designated as a global terrorist adding that it threatened global peace.

Three permanent members of the UNSC — the United States, Britain and France — have moved a resolution to designate Azhar as a global terrorist.

Global outrage rose after the horrific Pulwama terror attack as India rose to gather allies and isolate those providing shelter to terrorists.
