EC TO SUBMIT DECISION ON PM MODI’S BIOPIC BAN

ANM News Desk: The Election Commission will on Friday submit its decision to the Supreme Court on how long the ban PM Narendra Modi’s biopic will continue. The EC, on the apex court’s directions, had watched the film on Wednesday.  A bench of Chief Justice Ranjan Gogoi and Justices Deepak Gupta and Sanjiv Khanna had stated that it will consider the EC report and hear the matter.

The Prime Minister’s biopic, starring Vivek Oberoi has been the most-talked about movie in this election season. Directed by Omung Kumar, it tells the story of Modi’s rise to power from being a mere tea-seller.

PM MODI TO ADDRESS TRADERS’ CONVENTION IN DELHI

ANM News Desk: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be addressing a convention of traders at Talkatora stadium in New Delhi on Friday. The convention has been organised by traders supporting the BJP to express gratitude for various measures promised in the party manifesto for the Lok Sabha polls like accident insurance of 10 lakh rupees, pension after 60 years, traders credit card, simplification of GST and also exemption from income tax up to 5 lakh rupees.

PM MODI TO ADDRESS RALLY IN SOLAPUR

ANM News Desk: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be addressing an election rally at Akluj in Solapur district on Wednesday. He arrived to Pune on Tuesday and was greeted by  BJP leaders, including the party’s Lok Sabha candidate from the city Girish Bapat, sitting MP Anil Shirole and Pune city BJP president Yogesh Gogawale.

ANM News Desk: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to address four major rallies on Wednesday. He will be campaigning at 10:45 am in Madha, Maharashtra. The Prime Minister will then fly off to Gujarat for addressing election campaigns in Himmatnagar at 2:35 pm, Surendranagar at 4:30 pm and Anand at 6:20 p.m.

I CHALLENGE PM MODI TO ADDRESS RALLY IN KASHMIR: NC CHIEF

Yawar Shafi, Srinagar: Three times Chief Minister of Jammu Kashmir and Chief of National Conference Dr. Farooq Abdullah challenged Prime Minister Modi to address a rally in Kashmir Valley if he (PM) believes Kashmir is an integral part of India.

“If you believe Kashmir is an integral part of India then why don’t you address rally here.” Farooq said during a party workers convention at SK Park in Srinagar.

He also dubbed Prime Minister Narendra Modi as “anti-Kashmiri and anti-Muslim”.

“Had National Conference tried to divide the nation, then India would not have existed today,” said Abdullah in response to Modi’s jibe at “Abdullah’s and Mufti’s” for ruining the state at a rally in Jammu a day ago.

CM KAMAL NATH SLAMS PM MODI, SAYS ‘TERROR ATTACKS HIGHEST WHEN BJP IS IN POWER’

ANM News Desk: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Kamal Nath slammed Prime Minister Narendra Modi stating that Jawaharlal Nehru and Indira Gandhi had formed the defence forces when PM Narendra Modi “didn’t learn to wear pyjamas and pants”. The Congress leader’s attack on Modi came days after the prime minister referred to him as ‘bhrasht’ Nath. Addressing an election rally at Harsud in Khandwa district, Nath claimed that the “highest” number of terror attacks happen whenever the BJP is in power at the Centre.

WILL NOT ALLOW ABDULLAHS AND MUFTIS TO DIVIDE INDIA: PM MODI

ANM News Desk: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday stated that he would not allow ‘Abdullahs’ and ‘Muftis’ to ‘divide’ India adding that the families had ‘ruined’ Jammu and Kashmir. The prime minister was referring to Omar Abdullah’s demand for a separate prime minister for Jammu and Kashmir.

He also targeted Congress for the migration of Kashmiri Pandits from the Valley and said his government was committed to settle the displaced community in their native places and that it was a work in progress.

On doubts raised by some opposition leaders on the Balakot air strikes, Modi stated that Congress has never trusted valour of the armed forces.

PM Modi assured that the wave in favour of BJP was stronger this time than in 2014.

CONGRESS LEADER CLAIMS BJP TO BE THE ‘MOST CORRUPT’

ANM News Desk: Senior Congress leader Prithviraj Chavan slammed the Narendra Modi led government accusing it to be the ‘most corrupt’ in the history of India adding that its performance was ‘absymal and deplorable’.

The leader claimed that there was fear among people that if Modi who has ‘dictatorial tendencies’ continued to be in power, the Indian democracy would crumble.

Chavan stated that he expects Congress to do better in elections this year in Maharashtra.

CM MAMATA BANERJEE ACCUSES BJP OF MISUSING RELIGION

ANM News Desk: West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee on Saturday took a dig at BJP for allegedly trying to gain political advantage by using religion as a tool to mislead people. She hit out at Ram Navami rallies organised by BJP at various parts of the state and accused the party of trying to disturb peace in Bengal.

Banerjee also took a jibe at the saffron party stating that she has fielded a ‘bhumiputra’ (son of the soil) from the Darjeeling seat, unlike the BJP, which has nominated a candidate who hails from Manipur. Asserting that BJP will not return to power at the centre, she claimed that it will not win seats in other states as well.

“CHOWKIDAR IS A CHOR” : RAHUL GANDHI LASHES AT PM MODI

ANM News Desk: Congress President, Rahul Gandhi lashed out at PM Narendra Modi calling him ‘100 percent Chowkidar Chor.’ At a rally in Karnataka, Gandhi asked why all the ‘thieves’ had the surnames of Modi.

Raking up the Rafale fighter jet deal issue, Rahul Gandhi quoted “100 percent chowkidar is a chor” and alleged that the prime minister stole Rs 30,000 crore and gifted it to his “thief friend” Anil Ambani. He also claimed that Modi no longer spoke about farmers, jobs and corruption.

Gandhi said one of the first acts if Congress came to power, would be to provide for 33% reservation for women in the Parliament and assemblies and also in government jobs.
