MELODY QUEEN OF BOLLYWOOD, ASHA BHOSLE CELEBRATES HER 86TH BIRTHDAY

ANM News Desk: Asha Bhosle, who is also known as the Melody Queen of Bollywood, is celebrating her 86th birthday on 8th September.

Asha Bhosle has sung numerous songs in Marathi, Bengali, Gujarati, Punjabi, Bhojpuri, Tamil, Malayalam, English and Russian languages besides Hindi. If counted, she has sung about 16 thousand songs. This feat that has earned her an entry into the Guinness Book of World Records.

Asha’s elder sister Lata Mangeshkar also gave her blessings and tweeted, “Today is my younger sister Asha Bhosle’s birthday. I give my blessings to her. May God always keep her happy.”

FANS REMEMBER ‘MAHANAYAK’ UTTAM KUMAR ON HIS 93rd BIRTH ANNIVERSARY

ANM News Desk: Legendary actor Uttam Kumar continues to be an inspiration for eminent artists of West Bengal who fondly remembered him on his 93rd birth anniversary on Tuesday.

Uttam Kumar was born on September 3, 1926, as Arunkumar Chattopadhyay. His charismatic acting was a breath of fresh air in Bengali cinema which helped him to reign over the film industry as ‘Mahanayak’.

With a legion of fan following all over India, Uttam Kumar haas been a part of more than 200 films in a career spanning the golden age of Bengali cinema from the 1950s to the 1970s. The National Award winner has also worked with filmmakers like Satyajit Ray and Tapan Sinha.

PARINEETI CHOPRA LOOKS TOUGH IN THE REMAKE OF ‘THE GIRL ON THE TRAIN’

Amarnath, Mumbai: Parineeti Chopra’s first look from the Hindi remake of ‘The Girl On The Train’ has released. The film is yet to be titled and is ongoing its shoot in the UK.

The untitled film costars Aditi Rao Hydari, Kirti Kulhari and Avinash Tiwary. It will be directed by Ribhu Dasgupta and produced by Reliance Entertainment.

The original Hollywood film had released in the year 2016 and starred actress Emily Blunt.

SUNIEL SHETTY’S SON, AHAN SHETTY TO DEBUT IN NEW BOLLYWOOD FILM

Amarnath, Mumbai: Ahan Shetty, son of Bollywood star Suniel Shetty will begin his journey in Bollywood.  His debut film is slated to be the Hindi adaptation of Telugu film ‘RX100’. Ahan has started filming on Tuesday at a South Mumbai theatre. ‘Student of the Year 2’ fame, Tara Sutaria will be starring alongside Ahan. The film will be directed by Milan Luthria and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala.

Amarnath, Mumbai: Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff’s action spectacle ‘War’ has created an incredible record of becoming the first film ever to be shot in the Arctic circle. Hrithik and Tiger have shot an adrenaline-pumping car action sequence on ice in Finland, that falls in the bitterly cold Arctic circle.

“We were very clear from the start that we want to give Indian audiences action that they have never seen before. Our film has a huge car sequence that sees Hrithik and Tiger perform an adrenaline pumping action stunt that has been entirely shot on ice. We shot this in Finland which is in the Arctic circle and we were informed by our production team that we were the first ever film in the world to shoot an action sequence of this scale in the Arctic! Hrithik and Tiger have pushed themselves from the word go for our film to pull off some death-defying stunts. This sequence was incredibly risky but visually so stunning that we went for it,” reveals director Siddharth Anand.

The brilliant action director Paul Jennings, who has worked in big Hollywood action spectacles like The Dark Knight starring Christian Bale, San Andreas starring Dwayne Johnson, Jack Reacher starring Tom Cruise, Game of Thrones among others has designed this jaw-dropping sequence on ice.
