ANM News Desk: PM Narendra Modi while addressing a rally in Madhya Pradesh stated that this years’ general elections are different from all the previous elections. He stated that people of India are not voting for any particular party but to build a new India.

PM Modi mentioned that BJP is committed to double the income of farmers by 2022. He urged his supporters to take out ‘five seconds’ to vote for him and the prime minister will use the next five years for the development of India.

He took a dig at West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee stating that she was a ‘speedbreaker’ for the development in the state. The Prime Minister assured of developments in the state adding that projects worth crores had been approved for Cooch Behar by the Centre.

Following his rally in the city, PM Modi will be addressing rallies at Udaipur in Tripura at 2:25 p.m. and Imphal in Manipur at 4:10 p.m.

ALL-WOMEN POLLING BOOTHS TO BE SET UP IN MAHARASHTRA

ANM News Desk: All women polling booths will be set up in every Lok Sabha constituency in Maharashtra to encourage eligible women to caste their rights.

The Election Commission has directed that the booths will be entirely managed by women. As per the EC’s guidelines, there would be no specific colour code for such polling stations and their security will be a top priority.

 Rangoli and other art forms will be used to make these booths more attractive and to lay emphasis on cleanliness.
