MAN INJURED IN LOC SHELLING

Raju Singh, Jammu: A man has received injuries during the cross LoC shelling in Rajouri district.

The injured has been identified as Mohammad Mahroof , a resident of Challas village in Keri sector area of Rajouri district.

According to sources , the injured has received splinter injuries after a mortar shell exploded near him and has now been shifted to a hospital for medical aid.

INDIAN ARMY DISCOVERS FOOT-PRINTS OF MASSIVE CREATURE FROM FOLKLORE

ANM News Desk: The Indian Army on Monday tweeted sightings of footprints of the mythical creature the ‘Yeti’ near Makalu Base Camp in Eastern Nepal. The tweet read ” For the first time, an Indian Army Mountaineering Expedition Team has sited Mysterious Footprints of mythical beast ‘Yeti’ measuring 32×15 inches close to Makalu Base Camp on 09 April 2019. This elusive snowman has only been sighted at Makalu-Barun National Park in the past.

MITRASHAKTI-VI, INDIA-SRI LANKA ARMY EXERCISE BEGINS TODAY

ANM News Desk: MITRASHAKTI-VI, the joint training exercise between Indian and Sri Lankan armies will be held from today at Diyatalawa in Sri Lanka. The two-week long exercise is held alternatively in India and Sri Lanka.  An Indian contingent of 120 Army personnel, including 11 officers arrived last evening in the country.

The exercises focus on building combat skills and joint tactical operations. The extensive training interaction builds professional respect on both sides.

The exercise will also involve sports and cultural events.

INDIGENOUS MISSILE, A SUCCESS

ANM News Desk: Indian Defense Scientists have scored a success in demonstrating the indigenously developed Man Portable Anti-tank Guided Missile (MPATGM) on Thursday.

The low-weight 2-3 km missile was tested for the second time in Rajasthan and hit the precise targets at different ranges.

MPATGM is equipped with advanced features including state-of-the-art Imaging Infrared Radar (IIR) Seeker with integrated avionics.
