ANM News desk: A black bear somehow locked itself inside a Montana home and then nestled onto a closet shelf that wasn’t too hard, wasn’t too soft, but just right for a nap.

Missoula County sheriff’s officials say the bear just yawned when deputies knocked on the window and unlocked the door in an attempt to coax it to leave.

WOMAN GETS BITTEN TWICE BY A SHARK DURING A SWIM IN HAWAII

ANM News desk: A woman was taken to a hospital Tuesday after being bitten twice by a shark while swimming in Hawaii.

The woman, 27, was reported to be in “good health” and was expected to be released after a shark bit her while she was swimming Kealakekua Bay on the Big Island’s western side, leaving her with injuries to her lower back and right hip area.

Police officials stated that witnesses described the shark as having a gray tip and it was possibly a 6-foot black-tip reef shark.

ANM News desk: The Tamil Nadu BJP President Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan has said, there is no political vendetta in the arrest of former Union Minister and Congress leader P.Chidambaram.

She stated that the BJP is being blamed for the action by the CBI and the ED to malign the party, as the opposition could not succeed in proving their charges over the Rafael deal.

She said, all the actions against Mr Chidambaram are being taken by following due procedures, and added, if he is proved innocent, he would be set free.

ANM News desk: Businessman Ratul Puri, who was arrested in a bank fraud case, moved an application before a Delhi court on August 22 saying he wants to surrender in the money laundering case related to the Agusta Westland chopper scam.

Puri, nephew of Madhya Pradesh CM Kamal Nath, filed the plea before Special Judge Arvind Kumar, who has put up the matter for August 23.

Miranda Hollingshead, of Bogata, Texas, was on her fist trip to Arkansas’ Crater of Diamonds State Park on Friday when she found the yellow diamond.

72 YEAR OLD CONVICTED OF STABBING MAN 250 TIMES

ANM News Desk: A Washoe County jury in the US has convicted a 72-year-old man of first-degree murder in the killing of an elderly man he stabbed at least 250 times.

Ralph Goad faces up to life in prison without the possibility of parole at his sentencing set for October 2.

Detectives say there were signs of a struggle in the room where the victim’s body was found along with his empty wallet, a blood-stained knife and blood-stained pair of scissors.
