GUJARAT BJP TO FELICITATE MODI AND SHAH

ANM News Desk: Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP President Amit Shah will be felicitated by the party’s Gujarat unit in Ahmedabad on Sunday.

On his first visit to his home state after the poll results, the re-elected PM will also seek the blessings of his mother Hiraba Modi at her residence.

MODI ASSURES OF RETURNING TO POWER

ANM News Desk: Prime Minister Narendra Modi, while addressing a press conference on Thursday stated that India had impressed all with its diverse democracy. He assured that the party will return with full majority this year.

The PM stated that these elections could be used as a good case study for the student of politics.

Modi stated that all the schemes of his government have been well thought out and that during his election campaign none of his rally was cancelled adding that the weather was very conducive as well.

BJP president Amit Shah had called the campaign trail as ‘successful and victorious’.

BLAME GAME CONTINUES BETWEEN BJP AND TMC

ANM News Desk: Clashes between BJP and TMC has raised controversies as the blame game continues between both the parties.

Supporters of both parties are blaming each other as well and CPI(M) has sided with the TMC following the vandalization of Ishwar Chandra Vidyasagar’s bust.

There are several versions of the event doing the rounds in social media where students from universities seem to be taking sides while others call the situation staged.

EC HAS BEEN A MUTE SPECTATOR: AMIT SHAH SLAMS TMC OVER CLASHES

ANM News Desk: BJP president Amit Shah accused TMC of initiating the violence in Kolkata alleging that the Election Commission has been a”mute spectator”.

Shah stated that he would not have escaped unhurt without CRPF protection when his convoy was allegedly attacked in Kolkata on Tuesday.

He also alleged that the EC has laid “double standards” and it has been partial towards the Trinamool Congress claiming that West Bengal has witnessed violence in all the six phases of Lok Sabha polls.

KOLKATA POLICE REGISTERS FIR AGAINST AMIT SHAH

ANM News Desk: The Kolkata Police has registered FIR  against BJP chief Amit Shah following the BJP-TMC clashes in Kolkata on Tuesday.

The police registered two FIRs – one at Jorasanko police station and another at Amherst Street police station. In the FIR registered at Amherst Street police station on the complaints filed by students of Vidyasagar College and Calcutta University, Amit Shah has been named as an accused.

AMIT SHAH SLAMS CONGRESS: SAYS BJP ASSURED PUNISHMENT OF CULPRITS

ANM News Desk: BJP president Amit Shah slammed the Congress over its leader Sam Pitroda’s “Hua to Hua” remarks on the 1984 anti-Sikh riots, stating that they have “exposed” its mindset and asserted it is under the Narendra Modi government that culprits were punished and families of victims compensated.

TOP LEADERS START CAMPAIGNING PRIOR SIXTH PHASE

ANM News Desk: Campaigning will begin prior the sixth phase of elections on 12th May.

Congress President Rahul Gandhi will be addressing rallies in Jharkhand’s West Singhbhum and Dhanbad districts, and West Bengal’s Purulia district on Tuesday. Priyanka Gandhi will address rallies at Ambala, Hisar and Rohtak in Haryana.

BJP president Amit Shah will be campaigning in Ghatal, West Medinipur, and Bishnupur in West Bengal and at Patna in Bihar.

EC TO TAKE CALL ON MCC VIOLATIONS BY TOP LEADERS

ANM News Desk: The Election Commission on Tuesday will take decisions on alleged MCC violations by by PM Narendra Modi, BJP president Amit Shah and Congress president, Rahul Gandhi.

PM Modi and Amit Shah were allegedly blamed on referring to Indian Army as well as to India’s airstrikes on a terror camp in Pakistan while addressing election rallies.
