GO FOR MORNING WALK, ATTEND WEDDINGS, MAINTAIN SOCIAL DISTANCING: MAMATA

BY A STAFF REPORTER: Bengal has allowed people to go out for morning walk from 5.30 AM to 8.30 AM. Easing relaxations to a certain extent, government also allowed a gathering of 50 people in wedding places but with strict compliance of social distancing and other safety norms. Announcing this at a press conference, chief Minister Mamata Banerjee said Chagrabandha border will be open for international business from July 1. “We will have to keep a close watch on containment zone areas,” she said. I appeal to the people to cooperate,” she added. Mamata promised to infuse more buses from July 1. She warned bus operators that government will take action and seize vehicles if they failed to operate. Mamata also promised to give free ration to the poor till June, 2021.
