KV RAMESH KUMAR ASKS SC FOR MORE TIME TO ISSUE RESIGNATION OF 10 REBEL MLAs

ANM News Desk: Karnataka assembly speaker K.V. Ramesh Kumar moved the Supreme Court on Thursday seeking more time to deal with the resignation issue of the 10 rebel MLAs.

Ramesh Kumar, in his application, wanted the court to vacate the interim order passed in the morning by the Supreme Court directing him to meet the rebel MLAs and take a decision regarding the resignations by Thursday evening.

Seeking an urgent hearing into the matter in the Supreme Court, the speaker said informed that he has to verify if the resignations of the 10 rebel MLAs were voluntary or coerced.
