SC FIXES 25TH JULY FOR BEGINNING HEARINGS IN RAM JANMABHOOMI-BABRI MASJID LAND DISPUTE IF MEDIATION FAILS

ANM News Desk: The Supreme Court on Thursday fixed July 25 as the date to begin day-to-day hearings in the Ram Janmabhoomi-Babri Masjid land dispute case if mediation fails.

While hearing a petition seeking early hearing in the case, the court, sought a progress report from the mediation panel by July 18. It added that in case mediation fails or is found unfeasible, it would begin hearing from July 25.

The Supreme Court in March had constituted a three-member committee chaired by former SC judge Fakkir Mohammed Ibrahim Kalifulla, Sri Sri Ravi Shankar and senior Madras High Court advocate Sriram Panchu.
