NIA TEAM, ALONG WITH EXPLOSIVES & FORENSIC EXPERTS REACHES PULWAMA

Yawar Shafi, Srinagar: NIA team,along with explosives & forensic experts,have collected materials required for forensic evaluation of scene of crime in Pulwama South Kashmir. Considering the status, team would continue with sifting of material tomorrow too. Outcome would be made known after analysis is over.

PULWAMA DEADLY ATTACK AFTERMATH: HOME MINISTER ADDRESSED PRESSER IN SRINAGAR

Yawar Shafi, Srinagar: While addressing a Media conference in Srinagar, Home Minister Rajnath Singh said that he has asked the officers to review the security provided to people taking money from Pakistan and its intelligence agency ISI.
“There are some elements who are hand in glove with militant organisations, and ISI across the border. They are involved in conspiracies too. They are toying with the future of the people, especially the youth, of J&K.” Singh said in a Presser
“There are some elements here who take money from Pakistan and ISI. I have told the officers that the security provided to such people should be reviewed,” he added.
Singh said this while addressing a press conference after laying floral wreaths on the mortal remains of the slain CRPF personnel at Humhama in Budgam district.
49 CRPF personnel were killed after a Jaish-e-Muhammad militant rammed his explosives-laden car into a force convoy on the Srinagar-Jammu highway in Lethpora area of Pulwama.

PULWAMA ATTACK: HM AT VALLEY TO REVIEW GROUND SITUATION

Yawar Shafi, Srinagar: Home Minister in Central government Rajnath Singh arrived in Srinagar to pay tributes to the CRPF troopers killed in Thursday’s attack in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama district and to discuss the security situation.

Rajnath Singh taken part in the wreath laying ceremony on the bodies of the troopers at the Humhama Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) camp in Budgam district.

He will review the overall security in the state in the aftermath of the suicide attack — the worst strike in Jammu and Kashmir since militancy erupted in 1989.

DEATH TOLL IN PULWAMA BLOODIEST ATTACK EVER REACHES TO 49

Yawar Shafi, Srinagar: In a massive IED Car bomb blast yesterday, the death toll in Lethpora militant attack has mounted to 49. A top CRPF official confirmed that the death toll has risen to 49.

Earlier, 43 CRPF men were killed while 44 were injured in a car bomb attack along Srinagar-Jammu highway in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district.

Jaish Cadre Militant rammed the car into the CRPF bus triggered off an intensive blast, thus leaving 49 CRPF men dead and 44 others injured.

Yawar Shafi, Srinagar: Home Minister Rajnath Singh to arrive Srinagar today to assess ground situation and operational actions. He will chair highly placed security review meeting with top security officials. Meanwhile NIA team is also scheduled to visit the blast site in Lethpora Pulwama. IG level officer of NIA to probe into this matter. In New Delhi High command security meeting will be start at 9:15. National Security Advisor will monitor the meeting.

INDIA WANTS REVENGE:DEMANDS SURGICAL STRIKE INSIDE PAKISTAN TO WIPE OUT JAISH-E-MOHAMMED

Speaking exclusively to ANM News, minister of state for home, Hansraj Ahir condemned the attack and warned that India is ready to strike back. “We know how to defend our motherland. The death of our brave hearts will not go in vain,” he said. As India cried revenge, NDA government began consultations on strike back. Prime Minister Modi and Home Minister Rajnath Singh discussed all options with police and Army top brass. The country spoke in unison with people from across states demanding that India give a fitting reply to terrorists and their handlers Pakistan. “We want revenge. India should teach terrorists and their handlers Pakistan and strong lesson,” Ravi Kant Sharma, a resident of Delhi said. International condemnation also poured in with United States, Japan, Italy condemning the dastardly terrorist attack.

PRESIDENT,PRIME MINISTER CONDEMNS ATTACK : MODI HUDDLED IN MEETINGS

From Our Correspondent,ANM News:President of India, Ramnath Kovind and prime Minister narendra Modi has condemned the dastardly attack on CRPF convoy in Phulwama in Kashmir. National Security Advisor Ajit Doval was closeted in meetings with senior officers after news of the attack. According to CRPF and Jammu and Kashmir police sources, around 40 jawans have died in what is being touted as the worst attack by terrorist on security forces in Kashmir since independence. Home ministry sources indicated that Prime Minister Modi is in close touch with senior officers of the intelligence and security agencies as well as Home Minister Rajnath Singh.

TERRORISTS USED BEIRUT TERROR VEHICLE TO STRIKE AT CRPF

Avijit Nandi Majumdar, Editor in Chief: The vehicle laden attack in Jammu and Kashmir on CRPF convoy is a new form used by the terrorists. The death toll has risen to 27 in the deadly strike. Security experts claimed that such kind of attack is very difficult to tackle. ANM News spoke to several high ranking anti terror officers who claimed that such kind of vehicle originated in Lebanon. These vehicles were used in Beirut in 1980s to target US soldiers in their barracks. These vehicles are usually very effective and can easily pass through explosive laden mines. ANM News spoke to senior officers of CRPF stationed in Srinagar and learnt that initially they were caught unawares. The area has now been cordoned off.

MAJOR ATTACK IN J&K: 27 CRPF MEN KILLED IN FIDAYEEN IED ATTACK

Yawar Safi, Srinagar:  At least Twenty seven paramilitary troops of Central Reserve Police Force’s 54 Battalion have been killed and rest eighteen are injured after a suicide car along with IED has hit the vehicle leading to this massive causalities. The attack took place in Lethpora area of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district on the Srinagar-Jammu National highway stretch.

Police officials said that around 3:15 PM, militant rammed the car into the CRPF bus triggered off an intensive blast. Rest other injured troops have been evacuated to 92 base hospital of Army in Badami Bagh Srinagar.

SOUTH KASHMIR’S IED BLAST KILLS 12 JAWANS

Yawar Shafi, Srinagar: IED blast occurred at Lethpora on Srinagar Jammu National Highway following which forces cordoned off the area. The target of militants was the  CRPF convoy.

12 CRPF jawans were killed and 18 have been injured.

Militant outfit Jaish claimed responsibility of the Fidayeen attack on CRPF convoy.
